About Yute
Yute Commuter Service started the way a lot of things start out here — somebody saw a need and stepped up. Villages in the Y-K Delta needed reliable air service. Not fancy. Not fast. Just consistent. The kind of thing you could count on when your kid had a doctor’s appointment in Bethel or your mom needed to get home for the holidays.
Over time, we’ve grown some. More planes, more routes, more people on the team. But the core of it hasn’t changed. We still know the folks we fly. We still live in the communities we serve. And we still make the same promise we’ve always made: if it’s not safe, we don’t go.
That’s not a slogan. It’s just how things work when the people on the plane are the same people you see at the store.
Living and working in the same communities we serve means showing up—for our neighbors, our families, and the people who count on us every day.
When Typhoon Merbok hit, we quadrupled our flight schedule. No one asked us to. The villages needed it, so we did it. That's not a marketing story — that's just what happened.
Groceries, mail, medical supplies, parts for the water plant — if the village needs it and it fits on a plane, we'll get it there. That's been true since day one.
Our station managers, our ramp crews, our office staff — most of them grew up in the communities we serve. That's not a policy. It's just how it's always been.
Book online or just give us a call. We’re at the counter in Bethel and we’re happy to help.
