What the Job Is
As a Flight Follower, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily flight operations by helping maintain clear communication between pilots, coordinators, and village agents. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and can stay organized while handling time-sensitive information. The schedule follows a one week on / one week off rotation and may include extended shifts and weekend work.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Communicate with local village agents to gather daily traffic, weather, and runway condition updates
- Assist the Flight Coordinator with operational support and scheduling communication
- Monitor and maintain accurate flight logs and operational records
- Notify village agents of aircraft departures, arrivals, and estimated times
- Handle phone communication professionally and efficiently
- Help ensure smooth coordination between flight crews and remote locations
What We Need
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Professional telephone etiquette and communication skills
- Moderate to advanced computer knowledge and comfort using multiple systems
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Flexibility to work extended shifts and weekends as needed
